Accredited Kung Fu Instructor
Si Hing Malcolm McCormick

Kung Fu (KF) Si Hing Malcolm McCormick commenced training with the Golden Lion Academy in 1998. He is a 2nd degree Black Belt instructor in KF. He commenced teaching in 2000 under the guidance of Si Gung Richard Tsui-Po.

He was accredited to teach KF under the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme in 2003. He has competed and judged at State and National championships and has also performed in various demonstrations.

Si Hing Malcolm is a dedicated and patient teacher with excellent knowledge of both traditional and contemporary KF. His current focus is on working towards 3rd Degree Black Belt and to assist his students in achieving their highest potential.

  • Commenced training at the Berwick Centre, 1998.
  • Represented Golden Lion Academy at State and National championships from 2000 to 2004, and most recently achieved 2nd place Nan Gun (Southern Cudgel) and 3rd place Jian (Straight Sword) at the 2004 Australian Championships.
  • Won 13 medals (7 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze) at Golden Lion tournaments from 2000 to 2004 in barehands, weaponry and sparring.
  • Achieved 2nd Degree Black Belt, 2007
  • Studied with Grandmaster Dr Pier Tsui-Po and achieved Instructor Ghost Hands of Dim Mak, 2007
  • 8 years teaching experience
  • Accredited KF Instructor with NCAS.
