Accredited Kung Fu Instructor Si Hing Robert Grant
Kung Fu (KF) Si Hing Robert Grant started his journey with Golden Lion Academy in 2002, training at the Berwick Centre. Early in his training programme, he developed an interest in the specialized area of self-defence and sparring, and in addition to his regular training in KF with Si Gung Richard at Berwick, joined the specialist classes offered by the Grandmaster Dai Sifu Pier Tsui-Po, in Dim Mak at the Murrumbeena centre. This developing interest in the self-defence aspects of KF led Si Hing Robert to compete, and win gold and silver medals, in competitions in both sparring and barehands forms. In 2007, Si Hing Robert gained his first degree black belt and met the standards necessary to be registered as a coach under the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme. This has allowed him to further his journey in KF as an instructor at the Berwick Centre while continuing his own training in advanced techniques with Si Gung Richard. As Si Hing Robert continues his journey he still finds KF at Golden Lion Academy as rewarding and stimulating as when he participated in his first class. - Commenced training at the Berwick Centre, 2002.
